Driver's License Services
Getting a drivers license in Washington state is very easy. If
you already have an out of state license, you will need to visit
the driver licensing office, at 1301 NE 136th Ave, in Vancouver,
(360) 260-6288.
Hours are:
Tue,Wed, Fri 8:30-5:00
Thurs 9:30-5:00
Sat 8:30-2:30.

When you go to the licensing office, you will need:
Proof of identification, including your out-of-state license.
Cash or check to pay the $45 fee for your first Washington driver
license ($20 for your application and $25 for your license).
Your social security number.
You will then need to complete a driver license application, take
a vision test
and turn in your out-of-state license.
You will receive a temporary license at the driver licensing office,
which will allow you to drive for 45 days. Your permanent new
Washington driver license will be processed and mailed to you
within 5 days.
