Sellers are Taking a Beating in Today's Market
In today’s “Buyers Market” the rules
for selling your home have changed.
But I’ll bet you already discovered that.
It’s not easy selling your home today. Rising
insurance costs and property taxes, the sub-prime mortgage fiasco,
and higher interest rates have combined to create one of the most
adverse real estate market in years.
When buyers can cherry-pick from a flooded market
and make lowball offers, sellers take a beating.
But perhaps the only thing that’s worse than selling for well
below your asking price is not being able to sell your
home at all.
The truth is, some sellers are getting
their reasonable asking price, or very near to
it.
But the successful sellers aren’t those whose agents are working
from last year’s playbook. I know because I specialize in getting
the best possible price for homes selling in an adverse market.
I play by a different rule book.
Did your agent use ALL the hard-hitting strategies that I use?
• Did your agent recommend a stager, to help you prepare
your home for sale?
• Did your agent hold Sunday afternoon Open Houses?
• Did your agent list your home in both RMLS and NWMLS
multiple listing services?
• Did your agent conduct virtual tours of your
home on Realtor.com, Yahoo, Google, and Craigslist?
If you can’t answer “Yes” to these four questions, your
agent let you down.
I’d like to have the opportunity to represent you and
your home.
I’d like to have the chance to show you what
happens when you play by my rule book, using my marketing
plan.
